Home Wind Power Solutions Review

So I just finished reading a short but sweet article about the basics of Home Wind Power.

The article starts out with the fact that not only is wind power a green renewable power source, it’s also free and can supplement your home energy costs to nothing. Another pro it goes into is the federal legislation that requires your power company to buy excess power generated by wind off of you. This means that you can actually make supplemental income with your Home Wind Power generator.

If you decide to go with a Home Wind Power solution, you need to assess how much wind you actually get in your area. The author says that an appropriate wind speed is 10 mph at the spot where you place the turbine in order to generate enough power for your home.

You can check with the US department of energy to get an idea for how much juice your Home Wind Power generator will, well, generate.

Your Home Wind Power system should be placed on a plateau (i.e. rooftop) or its own tower. Your local utility company will have to come and hook it up for you, which they’ll possibly do free of charge.

Be sure to get a Home Wind Power system provider to give you an estimate or consult. You can find the original article here: http://ezinearticles.com/?Wind-Power-Home-Solutions&id=2214303
