Horde Guide

If you’ve been playing WOW for any length of time, you know that as far as games go, it one tough cookie. This article will act as a basic Horde Guide and give you a few tips and tricks to help you shoot up in the level ranks as a member of the Horde.

First off, equipment doesn’t really mean much in the lower levels, it’s not that important really until you hit 30. I’ve gotten some of my toons (in game slang for WOW characters) to high levels with basic, or found equipment i.e. weapons or armor. So all in all, good stuff doesn’t mean much until later, and there’s a Horde Guide that agrees with me.

A basic Horde Guide principle is mostly when you’re starting off, the best thing to do is take on all the quests in your toon’s respective training area, these will get you to level 10 very rapidly. Then you can continue on doing more difficult (and bountiful) quests until you hit level 30 or so. After that, then you can dig into the real meaty fun by tackling instances and the like.

According to the Horde Guide, one of the best things to do when questing is to multitask. Your quest log holds 25 quests at one time, so load’er up! Oftentimes, quests are very related to each other in geographical location or multiple items you have to get from the same enemy etc. Running back and forth to kill that enemy repeatedly is not a good idea, nor is its repetitiveness very amusing at all. Do as many as you can in the same area and then hand them all in at one for a major experience boost.

Grinding is basically just killing stuff. It is another way to build experience and gain items, not the best way, but it can be useful especially if you do it while questing following the Horde Guide. You see if you take the direct route to where you have to go for a quest or other target, and you kill everything you encounter, that will accomplish grinding while you’re getting to where you’re going, two birds with one stone! This is one of the fastest ways to max out your toon.

If you’re stuck at an area or don’t know what to do next, or just want to be more efficient and level up faster, invest in a Horde Guide. These guides will show you exactly where to be and when at any level in order to get your experience faster. The best ones are built in-game and include maps, compasses, and other handy tips.

Using a Horde Guide isn’t cheating, you pay a lot of money to play for fun. Getting stuck and not being able to do anything, especially since you’re so weak and can’t interact with the best characters, isn’t fun.

I sincerely hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it and I hope it acted as a basic Horde Guide compass to get you pointed in the right direction. Good luck!
